Mr. Loebl send me an e-mail whether I want to join EU. In a few hours I response thath I want.

Online meeting with Sophie (our advisor). She introduce four problems to us.

Today is our visa interview!

Day -1 [2023-05-31, Wednesday]
I'm playing tetris with all my things and trying to fit them to my luggage
Day 0 [2023-06-01, Thursday]
I waked up a bit earlyer than usual and took subway to Prague airport. On airport I made a tea and ate a breakfast. When I was eating other people came and we start our long airport procedure. Flight was pretty cool and not so long. After that second level of airport procedures start. I hope that I have all my documents. Luckily everything went good and after long waiting big car came for us and picked us to apartment. It was really long day (cause of time zone change).
Day 1 [2023-06-02, Friday]
We were on two orientation presentation. After that we eat some food from fast food at university and then we visit second online meeting with Sophie. We decided to work on the first problem:
After meeting we decided to go shopping for some food. It is really hard to get to the shop. We decided that taking Uber is the only possible way.
Day 2 [2023-06-03, Saturday]
We start working on our introduction presentation.
During working on presentation we do some research:

We made trip to New York. During that we do some research:
Week 1
Day 4 [2023-06-05, Monday]
We present our introduction presentation. After that we made our lunch and then we met with Sophie ant presented our progress. We were at the swimming pool in the evening.
Day 5 [2023-06-06, Tuesday]
We visit Dimitris Metaxas seminar in the morning.
Afternoon we were playing Squash, Badminton and ocketball.
During that smoke from some big file at Canada came to our area. It is a bit strange.
I was working on this website during the whole day.
Day 6 [2023-06-07, Wednesday]
Air was worse than yesterday, so we spent whole day at apartment. I still worked on my websites and we do some research:

Today we do some research:
Day 8 [2023-06-09, Friday]
We visit esearch Ethics seminar.
We try to beak ribs but our wax baking paper was not for baking (it was only for preparation food before baking) so we started ringink fire alarm. This happen one more time, so we ate only potatoes for lunch. Then we take Ubus to Brunswick and then we was walking throw them for one hour to car rent place. We picked our car for this weekend trip and drove to Aldi and then to our apartment. It was much quicker than without car. We finish ribs for dinner successfully!
Day 9 [2023-06-10, Saturday]
Today is our trip to Washington!
Our group (me, both Ondras, Barča and Tom) sat to our small car (compared to other American cars tanks). We stop for a while in Trenton looking from the car to the city center. We try our first drive-in – Dunkins donuts. Then we spend lot of time at highway. We stop for lunch at KFC. It was much worst than KFC in Czech republic. After the lunch we visited Fort McHenry in Baltimore. It was pretty nice.
After fiew more hours in car we arrived at at hotel in Washington DC. The hotel was a bit expensive but very comfortable.
We walked in Washington downtown in the evening/early night. We locked at White House and visited lots of memorials. Then we spend some time at public US army concert before Lincoln Memorial. Then we walk to Capitol and picked subway back to hotel.
Day 10 [2023-06-11, Sunday]
We are still at our trip to Washington.
We visited Arlington Cemetery, but it was a bit trap, because the exit to Pentagon in closed at Sunday, so we had to return to main entrance and then picked subway to Pentagon. We eat some donuts and then we visited Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. It was really cool! After that we start retuning home. We eat dinner in McDonald. It was much better than in KFC (or out taste is yet destroyed :D).
Week 2
Day 11 [2023-06-12, Monday]
This week there is Workshop on Modern Techniques in Graph Algorithms. It is really interesting! It is close to my study but it don’t help us with our research so the research don’t moved this week much. Because the workshop take almost all our time and attention.
Day 12 [2023-06-13, Tuesday]
There is still the workshop.
However after that we take the Ubus to Brunswick and visited some Jazz concert.
Day 13 [2023-06-14, Wednesday]
After workshop we played badminton.

Today is our trip to Philadelphia!
We picked light rail to Camden where we visited really cool USS New Jersey battleship. Then we moved by subway (which was a bit shady) to Philadelphia where we ate Philly Cheesesteak. After that we waled throw Philadelphia downtown to park near Museum of Art. We finish our trip by walking to train back to apartment.
Week 3
Day 18 [2023-06-19, Monday]
We visited talk from Lazaros about scientific writing. I learn a lot.
Afternoon we spent in Brunswick. We buy some clothes and large in Scarlet Fever shop. Then we celebrate Kuba's birthday.
Day 19 [2023-06-20, Tuesday]
We visited Data Science Boot Camp. It was a bit boring for me because I had already known almost all from that.
Day 20 [2023-06-21, Wednesday]
We had meeting with Sophie:

We were shopping at Aldi.
Day 22 [2023-06-23, Friday]
Today was a Culture Day. We heard many interesting presentation mostly about foreign languages and specialities. After that we start planing puzzle hunter game.
Day 23 [2023-06-24, Saturday]
We made trip to New York.
We visited Central Park, High Line and the Edge viewpoint.
During the trip we finish one prove in our research:
Day 24 [2023-06-25, Sunday]
We made next trip to New York.
Our main plan was boat trip to statue of Liberty. We had got tickets for going to the middle of the statue. However when we climb up to the top pedestal the balcony was closed caused by weather so we could observe surroundings only throw doors. After the late lunch me and Ondra Ch. took subway to Long Beach. We wanted to swim but the beach was closed (again caused weather). On the way to Manhaten we took ferry. Watching skyscrapers at sunset was really cool.
Week 4
Day 25 [2023-06-26, Monday]
We visited lecture about amsey theory by Martin Balko.

Today starts our trip to Canada!
We rented a car and then drive to Bellefonte to our accommodation in down floor in very nice house. There were a table ice-hockey in our accomodation. Afternoon we climb to Little Flat mountain.
Day 28 [2023-06-29, Thursday]
We moved to Niagara Falls and looked at the wall from the USA side. It was really cool. After that we take o boat on the river just under the falls. We were a bit wet after that. At the night we observe an light show on waterfalls.
Day 29 [2023-06-30, Friday]
We crossed the border to Canada and observed the waterfalls from opposite side of the valley. Then we moved to Waterloo and meet (in person!) with Sophie:

Day 30 [2023-07-01, Saturday]
We visited Toronto.
We took subway to Union station, looked at CN Tower and visited outdoor exposition of Toronto ailway Museum.
Then we walked in dowtown and ate Poutine. Today was Canada Day, so there were a lot's of people with flags and we saw woman singing national anthem at main square.
In the evening we visited ouge National Park.
Day 31 [2023-07-02, Sunday]
We visited Darlington Provincial Park and swim in the Lake Ontario. It was very cold. We did some research during that:
Afternoon we visited Charleston Lake Provincial Park. There were a lot of insect. After that we return to US.
Day 32 [2023-07-03, Monday]
We visited obert G. Wehle State Park. Then we spend lot of time in car.
Day 33 [2023-07-04, Tuesday]
We visited Kaaterskills waterfalls. We planned to walk more near them but heavy rain start so we return to car and drove to Jersey city. We visited Little India there and took PATH subway to Manhattan. After walk throw Time Square we arrived at independent day fireworks watch point. There were too many peoples and the best plces was yet full and closed, so after fiew minutes of walking we returned to the first place we visited from where was possible to see river (or at least space up to them). Fireworks was really cool, specially the begin madden by lightning drones. After fireworks we returned the same way to our car and then to apartment.
Day 34 [2023-07-05, Wednesday]
We start working on our paper.
Day 35 [2023-07-06, Thursday]
Still working on the paper and we meet with Sophie:

We were at Graduate School panel.
Day 37 [2023-07-08, Saturday]
We visited Princeton.
Day 38 [2023-07-09, Sunday]
We were preparing the puzzle hunter game which should take place next week.
Week 5
Day 39 [2023-07-10, Monday]
We were writing paper and preparing the puzzle hunt.
Day 40 [2023-07-11, Tuesday]
We visited "What does an Mathematician do?" panel and after that Lazaros gave us t-shirts and we make a photo. After the lung our puzzle hunter game took place.
Day 41 [2023-07-12, Wednesday]
We were writing the paper and we had meeting with Sophie. We wanted play volleyball at the evening but all fields was full.
Day 42 [2023-07-13, Thursday]
We were on Field trip to IBM Watson center.
We spend lot of time in the bus. One way took two and half hours which is something like going visiting edHad in Brno from Prague. After arrive and welcome presentation we looked at very interested thing – Quantum computer. First, we spend some time near model where someone talk about that and then we moved to lab with running Quantum computers. We visited some presentations after lunch. Presentations was a bit bored for me, because I’m not too much interested in Artificial Intelligence and data analysis. We meet one employers at IBM from our university. It was really good to talk with them because he answer lot of questions from us about work in IBM.
Day 43 [2023-07-14, Friday]
We was writing the paper and preparing end presentation.
Day 44 [2023-07-15, Saturday]
We made another trip to New York.
We took uber to some beach at Staten Island where we spend some time.
Then we try to find some food but the best restaurant near was closed, so we found another.
After lunch we took SI and ferry to Manhattan where we visited Broadway show Camelot.
Day 45 [2023-07-16, Sunday]
We are working of end presentation.
Week 6
Day 46 [2023-07-17, Monday]
We met with Sophie and discuse our paper.
Day 47 [2023-07-18, Tuesday]
We visited Probability and Intuition talk. It was a bit boring for me because I know lot's of this tings from my study in Prague.
Day 48 [2023-07-19, Wednesday]
We were finishing our presentation and we did some training presenting. At the evening we were swimming.
Day 50 [2023-07-21, Friday]
Today we presented our final presentation. After that we were working on our paper and preparing for our departure.

We are leaving USA.
At the morning we visited the rest of presentations.
After lunch we finish our packing and cleaning.
Some time before deporter still left, so we went to swimming pool. It is rely nice to have hostivař (sport center) so near.
Then limousine pick us to airport. There we wait for our a bit delayed flight
