The summer of 2004 proved to be quite interesting. I had the privilege of participating in two summer programs at Rutgers. One program was the DIMACS REU (Research Experience for Undergraduates) and the other was the RISE program, sponsored by Rutgers and UMDNJ.

What led me to participate in TWO summer programs? Simple, I applied to many summer programs, two of which were at Rutgers. I thought Rutgers was big enough that Program A and Program B would not know about each other, and thus they would not realize I had applied to both. I was wrong. Not only did they find out, but also the two programs decided to co-sponsor me. So A intersected B, and I reaped the benefits.

This page involves my research for DIMACS. If you wish to learn more about the RISE program, click their logo at the top of the page.
