Random Matrices

A Reaserch Experience for Undergraduates at Rutgers University

Mentor: Michael Kiessling, Rutgers University

Student: Prudence Heck, Douglass College at Rutgers University

Random Matrices (RM) occur in Statistics, Quantum Mechanics, and many applied problems such as telephone encryption. RM even have connections to the distribution of the nontrivial zeros of Riemann's zeta function. In short, RM are at the crossroads of Mathematics. Click on one of the links below to learn more about RM and our work.
